I love the superior bushwhacker. As bright as anything out there and Sam Davis is as honest as they come. Plus he still believes Americans should take pride in the products they build and he stands behind them 100%! I've been running superior for about 8 to 10 years and have never had 1 bit of trouble. That's my take on it but really there is probably not a "bad" light out there. Sam makes a lot of lights for different companies too by the way. They just stick their tag on it. My 2 cents

I feel that most all the lights are good lights. I have have had very good luck with BIG DOG and the customer service they provide. The BIG DOGS i have had are very compact, and durable. The only down side is they are not the brightest if thats what you need. They are built close to where you live so that is a plus. I have also had very good lights from Bright Eyes over the years. Bright Eyes has a VERY bright light in the REAPER, It is heavier then the BIG DOG tho, It just depends on what you need. The old Sunburst and Nite lights are the only other ones Ive owned in my time so I cant speak personally of the others.

Stick with the boss

Not only is the light awesome, but even better is the customer service that Bruce and Kevin give. Makes it an even better light.

boss light is nice light. most lights out there are pretty good. i could hunt with about any of them forever and be happy. besides laser if you think need that though it, doesnt hold a candle compared to some of others mentioned for my eyes.

talking on board is great but buy and shine some lights or look at buddy's and let your eyes make the decision. just like boots, trucks, dogs, whatever. everyone has preference.

CRYSTAL PRO is the only light to have. I have had 3 CRYSTAL light, only one problem and it was fixed on the spot, FROM FREE.
I was dumb enough to buy a bright eyes and I have sent back twice to be fox and the piece of junk still don't work..
It left in the, in the dark twice, that's my kind of cool hunting light

I have owned a bunch of them, the bright eyes REAPER is by far the best, not heavy, great spot but best of all the best walking light I have ever used.

Sunspot has a lifetime guarantee and is the most balanced ,comfortable, light out there.

Xtreme Pro, brighter than anything out, 3 hr plus on high, best walk light, 2 yr warranty and life time on labor after that. And they are at almost every big hunt to take care of you if needed.

"Agreed" I'm using the Sunspot Horizon. I have seen a few guys with these newer lights that do seem about as good as mine at the tree but I haven't really seen any that I felt "outshined" the light I'm using. I'm pretty satisfied with mine.

So i was just up at English days last weekend and got to put my hands on a bunch of lights. I looked at the Dakota lights, crystal lights, boss lights and xtreme pro. After 2 days of of consideration i was torn between the boss and the xtreme pro plus. The craftsmanship, style, brightness and quality of materials were very close between these two brands and far exceeded the other companies that were selling lights there in my opinion. I ended up buying the xtreme pro plus because it was a little brighter than the boss. the xtreme also has a more yellow tint to the main beam which i like better than white light. i have hunted with it 4 times now on one charge and its not dead so burn times are good. I put it up against the bright eyes gravedigger last night, the brightness was about the same between my xtreme and the gravedigger. Again the color of the light was the biggest difference. The gravedigger had a very white main beam vs. the yellow tint on the xtreme. Overall i am very happy with the purchase of the xtreme pro plus. very very bright, high quality craftsmanship and materiels and the owner seemed to be a good dude.
