Maybe...I used it on my three. One of them has low thyroid, but not too bad. He also had erlichia. The erlichia is cured and he has suffered no other effects that I know of, but again, maybe...he still has low thyroid. I thought, and the vet says that the thyroid condition could be hereditary or genetic. Never mentioned Frontline use. This dog is out of a known line of dogs that have higher than normal incidences of low thyroid conditions, so I didn't know to think about the use of Frontline.
For the record, he has suffered none of the often believed symptoms posted repeatedly on here. What he does have for symptoms of low thyroid is thin hair on his legs and belly, some lethargy, poor appetite, but weight gain. As to the erlichia...he ran a fever and stopped eating, he wouldn't come out of his dog box and in general acted like he was sick.
