Can you update your collar with the charging splitter that charges the collar and handheld? I've tried it can't get it to update.

You use a USB cable plugged into your computer. I don't think I have ever tried one with the spliter cable attached to the usb cable butjust remove it and see if it works. Then add the splitter cable and try again. Some of these cables are made to carry info both ways and some like specifically a charging cable might only go one way.

I updated all my tt15s the other day using charger plugged into USB. it wouldn't recognize a collar even with contacts cleaned up. each one popped in and out of cradle a couple times then all the sudden would recognize collar then update perfect.

Just did it the other day with a straight USB to cradle. Took a couple time and messing with it to recognizes. I think collar has to be on. The garmin program was took awhile to recognize the collar. Just the tt5 and tt15s have updates
