Indiana Mungo state park.

Well I've been going there for years. What in the world happen to the Coon population. Worst I've ever seen.
Anyone know what's going on.

You mean Mongo, as in Pigeon River FWA? It not a state Park if you are talking about Pigeon River at Mongo.

Yeah, that's Mongo, not Mungo and it's not a state Park or any park at all, just state fish & wildlife area. I haven't hunted it this year but this area has been as tough to tree a coon in this year as I have ever seen it. And thats maybe not a bad thing.

Worst I've seen. They should give it a break for a year or two, but I know that won't happen. 41 Coon hunters 1st night we hunted.

I got to find some private land next year. Dont care about knocking a bunch of Coons out. Is just to get a break from here,

Well I'm about 35 or 40 miles straight west and private is all I hunt but I have averaged just 3 coons per night in the last 7 nights of hunting. But I'm hunting a one year old too so who knows. Anyway, let me know if you need a guide for a night or two.

was up there last saturday night and only treed 4 singles before midnite.
after that had to catch the dog crossing the road going out of the sectiion 3 times in a row and headed home. talked to three other hunters that had not treed a coon at that time.

have hunted a little every night since the 8th and have made 57 trees with coon on them and caught one in a swamp.
