I turn my 6month old pup out every day after work and let him run and play while I clean kennels and do yard work. I have taken this pup with the older dogs and he goes with them and has opened on track a little but wants to play at the tree. He was went 4-500 yards by his self a couple times while we were hunting, I haven't taken him in a couple weeks. Right at dark yesterday I heard him baying at something in the field so I grabbed my light and walked down to the field. He came running up to me then turned around and headed for the woods. I caught some eyes in the field as he was running after it. He opened on track a couple times then went to treeing about 100yds in the woods. I walked in too the tree and he had a house cat treed. I let him tree for 5 or so minutes then pulled him off( he had to be drug) and put him in the kennel for the night. I think its time to take him to the feeders and see how he does. I feed him victor red bag grain free. He is out of G-man and Tom Hudsons female thuds coon crazy Daisy. I'm bout to head home and cut him solo on a feeder and hopefully he will have a different animal in the tree tonight.
