I took 3 boys hunting for the first time last night. We took my 2 younger Redbones Bruiser and Ruby, and had a great time. 3 drops, 3 trees, 3 single coon. And it only took 45 minutes from tailgate to the last tree. I think those kids will have unrealistic expectations next time! Ruby dominated 1st strike but Bruiser had 1st tree twice and they tied on the last tree.
The kids had tons of fun- Lets keep getting the young people in the woods and keep the awesome sport of hound hunting alive for many more generations!

Chris- How far are you from the Quad cities? We should run hounds together sometime-It would be fun to see some more redbones go- not many at all around here
