I recently moved to the very North East corner of Indiana, and was told that Blue Tongue, swept through here a few years back... so that could be what you're seeing. I'm not sure how the symptoms vary, but am told it decimated the deer herd around here.

HERE IN S.E. IOWA WE HAVE CWD, DDT,WWE and WD-40. It has gotten really bad all the bucks are dying, the only thing left is stunted does. So if you own or have a deer lease or own ground just for deer hunting now is a good time to let it go. Move quick before they are worth nothing!!!!!!!!!!! The conservation dept doesn't see any recovery any time soon.

It could be any of the things stated excluding the WD-40, Although it could of got hurt or shot and is loosing weight or could just be wormy, I seen one that looked that poor for close to two years and it either got better or Yotes got it one .

I'd say that's ehd myself. He may live. May not. Ehd does not kill everyone that gets it. Specially here in Ga. They have built up somewhat of a immunity to it that northern deer don't have.

I was just being sarcastic hoping that some of these deer crazy people around would see my post and believe it. Because it's on the internet so it must be true right lol. It wouldn't hurt not one feeling of mine if all the deer in s e iowa went away

That's interesting Doug! I didn't know the particulars, but heard it was pretty thorough. The farmers I spoke to said, the country side stunk and the vultures looked like sea gulls near a beach!

I agree with you 100%. The internet is how most of them learned to hunt anyway.

I didn't have to get a hold of odnr they got ahold of me today they already had pic of deer and are going to come out put deer down and test it for cwd
