Is going down to play Friday night, IF the weather isn't going to be in 90's with high humidity. May go down a couple days early & hunt in other high $$$ hunt going on down the road. Would definetly be there if i had a young handler on the end of her leash. Any volunteers??? Take care, Ron

My wife, daughter and I are going over there for the weekend but are not brining a dog. just going to look around and bs with everyone. I haven't been, in close to 10 years. I'm very excited to go back.

Looks like a lot of blue dogs will get eliminated early!! 15 blue dogs draw together on 7 of the 44 casts. This breed can't catch a break on the draw at this major event. Take care, Ron.

Your two dogs ahead of me- 686. At deadline time, GRNT that don't show will be filled on cards from us on wait list. UKC has 600 dog limit on entries, so you was 684 dog entered, BUT there may only be 5 GRNT on wait list ahead of you (ONLY ukc can tell us that #), so you may not be 84 dogs down the list for the chance to hunt. If they have more available guides for GRNTs' at entry deadline time, I think there will be more than 44 GRNT casts hunting than the 44 listed. If you have anyone that would take you to woods, not on guide lists, volunteer to guide & it will almost guarantee you to hunt. Hope I don't have you TOO confused!!! Take care, Ron

Look on main board, Allen answered my ??? about what you was asking & I was wondering too. We could always drive 50 miles down the road to another big hunt anyway, if we didn't get in!!! This will be like going from a county fair to the state fair for you. You won't believe all the dogs & people that will be there. Take care, Ron.

PS- best to bring pop-up cover if you have one. Not much shade unless you can find a barn space or have a friend under a shade tree.
