Dr. James Dobson on
Donald Trump’s Christian Faith

Only the Lord knows the condition of a person’s heart. I can only tell you what I’ve heard. First, Trump appears to be tender to things of the Spirit. I also hear that Paula White has known Trump for years and that she personally led him to Christ. Do I know that for sure? No. Do I know the details of that alleged conversion? I can’t say that I do. But there are many Christian leaders who are serving on a faith advisory committee for Trump in the future. I am among them. There are about 25 of us that include Jerry Falwell, Jr., Robert Jeffress, Jack Graham, Ben Carson, James Robison, Michele Bachmann, and many others whom you would probably know. We’ve all agreed to serve. How will that play out if Trump becomes president? I don’t know. It is a good start, I would think.

If anything, this man is a baby Christian who doesn’t have a clue about how believers think, talk and act. All I can tell you is that we have only two choices, Hillary or Donald. Hillary scares me to death. And, if Christians stay home because he isn’t a better candidate, Hillary will run the world for perhaps eight years. The very thought of that haunts my nights and days. One thing is sure: we need to be in prayer for our nation at this time of crisis.

As a true Protestant Christian, I don't need a Priest or Preacher or church or anything else to interpret Scripture or theology for me. Dobson can do what he likes. Trump spent the first 69 years of his life as an anti-Christian and never pretended to be one until he ran for president as a Republican. If that convinces you, I have some property I'd like to sell.

Steve, why do you care (since you would never know the truth anyway) what a politicians stated religious beliefs are anyway? If they were running for Pope or Chaplain I see the point........

I would use a more objective approach to assessing my candidates than what they tell you of their spiritual affairs.


The most important thing, in my opinion, to being a qualified Presidential candidate is some fluency with international affairs.

Only one of the candidates is qualified for the job.

Our Christian principles.........we are seeing what is happening to Christians in todays society! God is being taken out of everything. You can't pray on some colleges because you are offending someone. No praying before a ball game, no pledge of allegiance, wanting to remove God's name off our currency, removing the ten commandments from all government property. Have you had enough? If Clinton is elected, you can kiss religious freedom goodbye. She will appoint the most liberal supreme court justices, and nothing with a hint of Christian/conservative will EVER pass! This is my opinion, and as of right now, I'm still entitled to it!

Ain't my job to judge ones feelings on God. They say they Christian. I say I believe em. If they lying I do know where they going in the long run. Christians are not really a dying breed. Trump is a serial adulterer, does not pay his debts, is oppressive to the widow and the immigrant, speaks slander and abuse, promotes the profane, and uses Christians as tools! Yet this is the man many think will somehow stop the morale decline in this country.

I personally am going to apply 2 Timothy 3:1-5 in this election cycle.

1. But know this , that in the last days perilous times will come: 2. For men will be lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3. unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good. 4. traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. 5. having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people TURN AWAY!

That's what I plan to do!

if we only voted for principles that hillary and trump have we would be able to vote,but the clinton's and obama have had the white house long enough and our country has only went down hill, time for a change...jmo
