When I was a child, my daddy brought home a redbone and taught me how to train him. We lived in Wewoka Oklahoma. He won several UKC, PKC and AKC hunts. His pups at the time sold for a lot and we ended up having to sell him. I remember daddy getting several thousand dollars for him. If anyone has any information as to where he ended up and where any of his descendents are I would love to hear about it.

Wow! I can't believe I actually found someone! That is just amazing! Daddy hasn't hunted in years. I do t remember the name of the man daddy sold him to, but I do remember daddy calling him to see if we could buy him back as was the agreement. Whoever he was told daddy Red was hit by a train and dead. Daddy never believed that. I will call daddy in just a few minutes and tell him all about this, he will never believe it. Do you happen to know anyone who has one of his descendents? I want to teach my son and would love for him to have one of red's. Thank you for responding.

Do you happen to remember Jimmy, can't remember his last name. His wife was Tootie. I thinkhe hunted blueticks, and Danny Shultz, he hunted walkers I think? Daddy hunted with them a lot.
