Coon Hunter wanting to buy his dad a Beagle

Guys I can tell you everything about a Walker coon hound there is to know. But I'm beagle dumb when it comes to a good line to purchase a pup from. My dad is a beagle man has some great beagles. He's retired and loves to run them. I'm wanting to get him a special pup but I don't know where to start. He deserves the best because he's the best.

Best lines

First thing to know before buying a beagle is what are you looking for ? Your dad's dogs breeding and does he want to stay with that stock. If so you need to find a good one within your father's bloodline if he's going to linebreed his dogs. If not than look for a beagle that will suit your farther? Find one with speed on track that he likes not just a fast pup that will overrun it,a good jump dog is a must, sex of dog he needs, likes. Ukc,akc. Mouth on dog to be loud and special sound. One with no health problems. If your farther is into the hunt games look for young dogs that are fast run around other just to be in front. If you are looking one to run from day break to dawn, jumping his owe rabbit with a medium fast speed that does not over run track with hardly any losses and circling the rabbit over and over until shot without losing or holing the rabbit.this type is getting harder to find because of the games. I helped to start the ukc gundogs games that we know of today so I still know where some good ones are. Dont be trick with a lot of hype or champion papers. Go see for your self. If I can help just let me know.

Sex doesn't matter but he loves a dog that will pick up that loss when the others over run it. So I'm going to say a medium speed with the ability get in the thicket.
