Hank Jr. was a coonhunter, so it's very possible.

Around 2000 I had a real nice female out of Crafts outlaw jack. She was terribly independent and I hated her guts most the time. She just never would tree with anything else. I got tired of always walking to her off to herself with a coon. But not any times would I cut her and not find her treed somewhere. Sometimes the next day. What I would give for another just like her now with all this garmin technology we have. I was just a pleasure hunter and enjoyed hearing dogs tree together. I hauled her to 6.5 hrs Otterville mo to Roy Jeffries and bred her to outlaw Billy the kid. She didn't take. Her next cycle I took her to once frozen in okc and had her ai'd with btk frozen semen. Only had one male pup and it died at a young age. That cross should have been a good one. I sure wanted it to happen at the time and being a 19 yr old kid I was doing all I knew to do.
