THIS HUNT HAD A GOOD TURN OUT LAST YEAR,SHOWED 32 DOGS,AND HUNTED 27,MOST OF THEM REDS.SHOULD BE BETTER THIS YEAR.

looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend. we have worked hard to make sure this event goes well and everyone has fun. there will be a concession open both days from 12 to 8 that will be a fund raiser for the Miss Stix 8 year old softball girls team so please help them out when you get hungry or thirsty. bring those coondogs and come get the awards!

The only coon I saw was in a cage at the water race. Think it was imported in.

I have never understood why you have all of these posts on the message forum to get people to attend but no one posts the results/winners after the hunt is over. It is like they didn't even have one. You would think that there would be results and pictures.

Richard I was there . Friday I drew two redbones I had 100 minus a bunch of circle and a dead cast. I think all the open registered cast were dead and a blue dog won
NT CH not sure about GR NT . Saturday I drew a Walker a Bluetick and a Black and Tan . I messed around all dogs opened when we cut lose and I only got 3rd strike Rebel Red treed first coon all alone . Cut back in for a quarter walker dog got treed Red got 2nd tree, walker dog left ,black and tan got third with 30 seconds left on tree. Cut loose again Red located what seemed like forever then chopped and I treed him and he left after about 3 . That was the first hour and 10 the rest of the time we had one slick tree Red did not back on . Called time out and recast at a diffrent location . Only dog left were me and the black dog both dogs struck but didn't tree before time was up . A Redbone won 1st open reg. . I believe was the only Open reg. dog with plus points. That's my part of this hunt. The Club that hosted was good and put us in good locations some times It's tough hunting . I'm not good at posting pictures in this.
