Kentucky hunters "URGENT" Senate Bill 14
Once again the HSUS is trying to pass a bill in KY that will impact dog owners, dog hunters and farmers.
Senate Bill 14 is an amendment to KRS 525.125
Related to animal fighting, to include the owning, possessing, keeping, breeding, training, selling, or transferring of dogs for fighting purposes within the offense of cruelty to animals in the first degree.
This bill is BAD for sportsmen and farmers.
The KY Dept of Fish and Wildlife and the KY Farm Bureau are standing with us and are against the bill also.
HSUS has paid $16,000.00 to Karen Thomas (a lobbyist) to push this Bill.
KHA President Doug Morgan reports that some of the Senate Committee members have said coonhunters have called once to oppose but the opposition keeps calling day after day to get this bill passed.
We're asking everyone that will, to call and tell them to kill Senate Bill 14
(out of state callers are welcome to call also).
