I was wondering if anyone has drove a pipe in hill side that leaks water? And what is the pipe prep? And how far do you go in? Thank you for any information

the pipe i used for my spring head pipe , i drove a 2 inch pipe 10 feet long through a crack in a cliff at the bottom with a sledge hammer and a piece of 4x4 and left 1 1/2 feet hang out and then walled it up 3 feet and then tied the line into it , on the hottest summer months it will frost a glass straight from the faucet ..
