.

There are three types of blinks.
1. is a steady slow blink when you first turn it on.
2. Double flash with slight pause
3. Triple flash with slight pause

The flashing indicates if it has hooked up to the satellites or not. Double or Triple being what you want after a few minutes of being turned on.

When you say won't link up do you mean.
1. You cannot add it to the 220
2. It has been added to the 220 but you get no connection only a question mark by the dogs name?

First thing I would do is look and see what the ID number is for the collar attached to your handheld. I would delete that collar and then add it again. Check ID number to see if it is the same as before. If not that was the problem.

I would also update both the collar and handheld.
