A buddy of mine has a direct daughter of Bone that has Dual Gr. Spring Creek Chief in her 3rd gen. Not many of these at all left that have been live bred.
She was bred to a nice direct son of Bone who goes back to Legend and wipeout Zack (moose)

There is a whole lot of tracking ability in this pedigree. Both are very nice looking hounds. She is solid red head and full blanket back. Almost preacher colored.
They are both solid coondogs that not a bit of help.Shes 4 hes 2.

This will be a half Bro/Half Sis cross on Bone. Not sure if that has been done yet. Im banking on the parents for sure.
These pups will be priced right $200.00 ea. The owner is keeping a couple and Im keeping one. She had a bunch last time maybe 10 or 11 if I remember correctly.
She is due around the first week of March. We will know in about 3 weeks if she took. If she did I will keep this post active.
The plan is for me to raise them and sell them for my buddy.
So they will be located in North MIss in Batesville, ms. An hour south of Memphis. 90 minutes due west of Tupelo. I would be willing to drive a little ways and save you some money.
I think they will be worth the chance. I wouldnt keep one if I didnt.
Should be good looking Athletic and hard hard tree dogs. she is a uptight 120-140 bark a min tree dog. The sire is just a good solid typical Bone pup. Sound and balanced with a great nose.

Thanks for looking and if you want to start a list Ill be glad to or you can wait till we know for sure. It wont hurt you to be put on one just in case. Cost nothing to get on. Once we see if she took and is going to have pups we will get a small deposit of like $25.00 bux to hold your pic. This is a sweet deal for a pup bred like this.

thanks Mike....you know I ended up with your lock box/bone gyp. I wanted her way back last year when you had her for sale. After going all the way to North Carolina and Doug, she ended up here. she is making a nice little dog. Just got her started after showing her just a couple of coons and shooting one out to her she is on her way and of course we are showing her Fri morning at the winter classic. She won her first show with competition two weeks ago. We have our work cut out for us cause as you know there will be a building full of world class hounds. I have a lot of confidence in her if she can handle that huge arena and a couple thousand folks walking around. We will see.
I am planning a cross on her next spring if the good Lord is willing and it will be world class in every area.

extremely hard to beat at the local level and will give them all a run at any state level and these days that is tough. Then at the National level ....like all of them...she will need great favor. All the dogs at these national levels are world class. IF folks dont think it is, just hop in the ring. I have done it and It flat out tough. Lots of dogs dont win that are more than qualified. It is hard hard to judge and pick out dogs at this level. There's not .10% difference in hardly any at this level.
Thanks for the kind words, I believe she will reproduce. She is the smartest little hound I have seen for a hound dog in a while. She learned how to heel, load, sit in 30 minutes in one day. Two coons and she was off and running in the woods.
Less than 40 lb and is solid muscle and cat footed and good muzzle. You can see her on the stud page under my kennel ad. check her out.

10. We received 7 bookings and the owner is keeping two and I am getting one. So with that said, if you want to try one or more and then you can just see if you want in on a back up list. Not everybody that says they want one make it happen. There are always some circumstances come up. So Ill get you on the list and we will see what we come up with. Thanks again for all the quick and positive response.
I think it will work. The dad is a typical type bone dog with good looks. like I said I think the mom took after the spring creek side of things with her color so we will see.
Bone definitly is the Cat Daddy of treeing walker studs now and everything else is 2nd place. Doubleing up on it could be special.
They are still just dogs, but if you do your homework like these two guys did I think it ups your chances on getting a good pup to start off with.

Your inbox is full. Try and get your bud in on one. I think it will work. Its an experiment for sure. As the ad says "Its a whole lot of Bone". I believe without a doubt that Homer and Bone will be looked back upon as two of the all time leading reproducers of coondogs during their living era.
So breeding a half bro-Half sister on a son of a dog that was inbred is going to be something to see. It could just be a flop, but if a pretty darn good coondog to a pretty darn good coondog with the same daddy......well it just mite work.
Bone throws the best nose and tracking ability of any line of dogs in my lifetime and I am 60 years old and been hunting since I was 8. So all the math has been done, pedigrees studied, questions asked and the coondog treeing ability is checked off on both dogs.
My buddy asked me what I thought and if I thought it would work. I did my homework and my answer was "Sure..why not. Lets give it a shot"
I believe they will be excelent track dogs with above average noses. You have a couple of shots of some pretty dog gone good tree dogs in the mix as well. It looks like balance to me. Thats what I strive for here.

I have folks from ky to the eastern seaboard and Indiana to Miss wanting one so I am sure we can get a couple delivered part of the way some way. I will be more than glad to drive 100 miles if that will save anybody about four hours driving time and two hundred miles round trip. Ill work with anybody best I can. I have had good friends be willing to do the same for me and I like to pay it forward whenever I can.
