Dog kennels???

What do you all think in dog kennels? gonna build one either outta wood to get it off the ground or concrete. Pros and Cons? Thanks

i like ta build mine up of the ground last 1 i built 8x8 then divded it into 2-4x8 runs put a sheet of plywood on the back and use 2x4 s for the frameing 3/4 treated plywood for the floor with mineing belt over it put my boxes on the outside and bout 6 in off the floor to keep water out when i hose them out

mines gonna be 10x20 going to build off ground forsure and put a roof just have decided on the floor yet

My floors on the outside runs are ripped 2x4s on one and the other are treated 2x2s spaced 1 and 1/2 inches apart...if i do it again Id really consider gettin these http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0006...&ref=plSrch

I wouldnt have to wait till pups get bigger

Concrete is the way to go for me. Just hose it down and don't have to trim dogs nails that way ether.

no hosing for above ground but once a month, and I havent cut nails on a hound since I started this sport
