How old is the pup?
The better trainers, are offered to train more dogs then they have time for. Ole hoss in ky seems to know what he is doing. I wouldn't worry about starting the pup until there 6 months. Pups are easy to start... finishing one is what takes the most patience imo. At the end of the day no one will treat the dog better then you.

I personally aint takeing no pups right now for the simple fact i dont like starting a pup around here in the dead of winter. Tracks are bad most nights and the pup picks up more bad habits on these nights than good ones. I got a pup of my own im saleing because of this. Plus i stay so booked up hunting peoples dogs i cant hunt one of my own. I would suggest finding some were u can turn the pup loose at and let it teach it self if its under 8 months old. Ive started to many young and watch them back step instead of progress. Good luck with your pup hope it makes a good one u can call or text me if u hit a stumbling block i can try to help. 270-832-1917
