Thanks for the PM's
Guys,
Thanks for the PM's and Text. For those who wanted me to book your female, please call when your female shows sign of coming in. Please call Lemar and tell them that you plan on breeding to X. This way he can see the interested owners up here.
Yes, I plan on breeding one of my females to X if not both of them. This will depend on how long X is able to stay here.
Sue is a daughter of Chrome, granddaughter to Zeb, great granddaughter to Huck. She is heavy Briar Creek and runs with a squall on track. She is a nice addition to our kennel. She has only had two pups and they just went to Alabama last weekend. I can't wait to see what kind of reproducer she is. I have had many people text or call and say they have hunted with her when Chris and Jim were campaining her. We plan on hunting her in the hunts this next year and skipping one heat cycle. She will be bred to X semen as some point in time.
Dot is the Dam to this years Autumn Oaks Grand 16 Finalist Jam handled by Trevor Hack. Dot has pups on the ground that are 9 months old and have split treed from old dogs and had the coon. She throws coonhounds! She will be bred to X if she comes in while he is here. She is 8 years old and this will be her last litter. If X is gone when she comes in she will not be bred.
It has been a busy Monday with over 12 phone calls or text about X. Thanks so much to everyone who has tried this bloodline. I believed in the Huck a Buck Ten Cross many years ago and I still believe in this blood today. Queen was a special kind of hound. Queen and Ten were the only two pups in the first Durango /Lucky cross and it is very nice to see their blood can still help our breed. I can't wait to cross some of this blood with the new strains to see what we can produce.
Good Luck to everyone, send a PM if I can help in anyway or if you have any questions. I may not know the answer, but I will do my best to get the answer for you.
