5100 mine style head

Does anyone or has anyone ever had trouble with the light going on and off? I can tighten or loosen the lense and it come back on.This is nerve racking. Any suggestions on how to correct the problem?

Take the bulb out, if its like the old heads I had there will be two metal tabs the bulb sits on. Take a knife and bend the tabs up a little. Sometimes they don't make good contact with the bulb.
