She Did It! PKC Gold Champion Layton's Classy Cali Wins Another PKC Pro Hunt in MS

Wow! What an amazing weekend that was. Congratulations to the new PKC Gold Champion Gr.Nt.Ch. Layton's Classy Cali and Tony Dominguez on winning the first 2016 PKC Pro Hunt in New Albany,MS tonight by beating last years overall winner Eli Stone in the finals. She was the only Redbone entered and was the only dog in the semi finals that was not a Walker dog. This is Cali's second PKC Pro Hunt win in less than a year, and Tony's first.

Cali is the first Redbone female to make PKC Gold Champion by winning over $10,000 in less than a year. She is the all time Redbone Money Winning Leader now in PKC. Thanks to everyone who had a part in this success.

Thanks for the good words everyone. She is definitely back in top shape again and she is bouncing back well from having pups this summer. She is still not 100% but we hope to have her there in 2 weeks.

Thanks everyone so much for the congrats, it wouldn't have been possible with Allen, the friends & family I have! We're not done at all... When I picked Cali up I told Doc my goal was 14,000 by the end of the PKC competition season & she had 6,800 won... We're going to shoot for PCH, I'm not sure if that's to much to ask for but we're going to give it a wirl! Thanks again everyone, I couldn't be more prouder of the little Crome redbone then I am! She sure makes the handling part easy!

She goes back to my Timber Jack dog a couple times on the top side. Her sire is Sam Hodges Ghost of JJ Jr. who is out of Mosquito Creek Sue and Glissen's JJ Jr. Mostly Timber Choper breeding. Her mom is a country coondog from Alabama.
