I am in the Winchester, VA area just moved here. I have a Stephens cur that just turned a year old and am looking for a hunting buddy with an experienced good dog I could run her with. I think she will make a good one. Just hoping to find someone local that wouldn't mind having a pup run with their experienced dog. Thanks

Steve,do you know John Slater from Winchester? I met him and his family many years ago while working up there.They were awful good to me and we hunted many nights together during the two years I was there.Ive lost their phone #. He had two sons that also hunted. The last time I talked to them they were bear hunting a lot.Thanks and good luck, Jr. Steelman

There are quite a few in the area, your best bet is to find a local club. I think there is one in Berkley springs.
