Just something to think about...
By my count, during last nights zones there were 6 Redbones out of 32 entered that won their cast. That's 18.75%.
Just to kill some time I got curious how that would compare to the walkers - there were 330 entered and 69 cast winners. That's 20.9%.
I would think when a higher total number is entered it helps that percentage bc some of the casts had 4 walkers in them(kinda hard for a walker to not win those casts). For me, that re-iterates the fact that we have just as good of dogs in the redbone breed, we just need more people hunting them.
I know this isn't rocket science, and someone else has probably pointed this out before. I also know that we that hunt Redbones don't really doubt that we have competitive hounds to what other breeds have. To me it just illustrates the idea that to be more successful in the hunts, especially the larger scale hunts, we gotta have more numbers. Talk a friend into hunting a redbone.
