Hilltop Nig Kemmers

Are Hilltop Nig bred Kemmers used more for squirrel and coon or big game? Do they make better tree dogs or bay dogs?

kemmers

I used nig's mon & his aunt midnite special on coon & sq., before I let LOYD have nig's dam midnite star.they were very gritty & I think would hunt anything you wanted.

I saw the picture of Hilltop Nig and he is a good looking dog...

I was getting this dog confused with North Fork nig who was owned by Glenn Overstreet out of Northfork, Cal...

does anyone know what Mr. Overstreet is up to these days?

I rasied a litter of pups out of nig and a 5/8 jake 3/8 lou female about 10 yrs ago, they made pretty fair squirrel dogs. I still have one here , he will be 10 yrs old in oct, hes black like his sire . any one that likes the nig over jake and lou blood, your more than welcome to breed to him.

Nig pups

I have had two Nig bred females. One direct off on Nig and one a double grand daughter. The two I had were fairly open on track. Even hot squirrel. So they were hunted mostly on coon.
