How to add drive????

I have a 4 year old dog that is a coon dog. The issue I'm having is he just doesn't wanna hunt. The original owner said when he was young he would knock a hole in the dark but he also said the dog was shocked for hunting too deep and this is why he hunts this way now. He mainly does this when cut loose alone but has started to do it when cut with another dog. He is too nice of a dog to just throw away. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks for any help

Drive

That is the early symptoms they will lose there drive or quit treeing. They will steadily get worse if not treated
