wierd way to start a hunt.

got out right at dark with minn, trix, and sky. within half mile of first place to cast and old girls rigged hard. dumped all 3 and bout 100 yds in all 3 dogs started smoking track. real thick hell hole with hard woods and filthy thick cedars. screamed in a good 400 yds from me and all treed awesome for 30 seconds maybe then off to races again. tracked deeper then back towards me and treed again. within minute moved screaming hard on track again. i moved as close as could in machine scratching my head. was ready to pull bobcat card or what in the world are these retards doing card. dogs slammed treed for 3rd time and waited few minutes then headed in. big tree and got eyes moving down tree. coon stopped for little bit and took pic of it and jumped right by me off to races again. old dogs were locked but sky moving around im sure goofed up shes never seen anything like this. called dogs off and they hit and started moving it again. serious thick in here and i moved to one little opening where deer and what not cross as dogs screamed the other way then looped back toward me. never dreamed in a million years id see the coon again unless treed or caught but i did, it ran within 5 yards of me with trix seconds behind. i start calling trix and pulling alpha out to tone her because expected was sow that would end up ground caught.

trix went another 50 yards by time im hollaring and toning and while going through 5 barb wire fence catches her whole cheek and stopped her dead in tracks. had her caught and would still be there if i wasnt there or pulled hard enough to rip whole side of cheek out. thankfully was my fence so cut foot section out and got back to buggy and got it removed. you couldnt have landed a fish any better in hundred years as good as it got her. LOL. thought id seen everything hound doggin.... wow, poor old hound has gotten beat up tore up and every injury under the sun from hunting and game but tonight the ole red brand got her. LOL. on that one chase from strike to trees to catching dogs they had 1.5 miles on. unless seen what i did and way know old dogs i wouldnt have bet was coon in million years. even a year or two ago girls probably would have ground caught at beginning of race but it is nasty thick area and obviously coon we have chased before.

made two other dumps and pretty dull. layups with singles. little puppy dog didnt tree on them, probably got her thinking gonna be wild chase after chase like first run. LOL. that was good practice for next month cause shes gonna learn about the big black wisconsin coon.

first run with crazy jumping coon. more fun than a guy should be allowed to have.

minner spinning around saying i wish it was november .

one of the layups.
