I've got 2 alpha's and my hunting buddy has one,,we both have 320's also,,the 320's are sitting on the shelf collecting dust,,nothing wrong with them,,we just prefer the alpha,,we have never had a problem with the alpha,,has worked perfect since I've had mine,,best thing ever made,,but that's just my opinion

Is it easier to track dogs with the 320 or alpha. Or both the same. And does the 320 have birdseye view too

Which is best ?

It's simply a matter of opinion.......
I have had both, I sold the Alpha and kept the 320......I just like it better, I haven't had a need for a shocker for years, have a same as new Tritronics that has been sitting on the garage shelf for over 3 years.
If you have a need for the shocker part, then get the Alpha.
Another thing to consider is the price difference.....at least $200...😊

Yes they both have the Birdseye capabilities. They both track the same. The biggest advantage for me to go with the alpha was the batteries. The 320 will eat batteries like candy. The alpha is rechargeable. I've had both and like the alpha better.

I too have both the 320 and the alpha. For an old fart like me, (If) I have no need for the shocking capability, I prefer the 320.

For me it is because I don't like that touch screen feature. It seems to get bumped to a different screen while its in the pouch. The 320 stays on the screen that i left it on when i put it in the pouch. That is my only gripe with the alpha.

On the plus side with the alpha is that I don't have to buy and pack around all those lithium batteries as that system is rechargable.

I've had all three systems, still have the 320 and the Alpha. The alpha links up a little quicker and it it drops signal with the collar seems to pick back up a little quicker. Another plus is the ability to tone your dog with the Alpha where you can't with the 320. It all comes down to a personal choice.

You can buy rechargeable batteries for the 320,,but the down side about the 320 is when batteries get low,,you gotta take batteries out and replace with charged ones,,with the Alpha, you just plug in and let it charge

I have the Alpha and really like it. I prefer it over the 320 simply because I think it is 10 times easier to navigate with the touch screen than the buttons. As far as tracking, I wouldnt say there is much, if any, difference between the two.
