Who has or has had in the past a dog from a half bro/half sis cross who reproduced ?

I am interested in hearing some details about any above average reproducing males or females current or from the past that were from half brother / half sister crosses. I am only interested in the ones who proved themselves as better than average reproducers. Were any of their crosses to an aunt or uncle ...niece or nephew? Were the traits in the pups similar to either parent or seem to be a balanced mix of both parents?

There are many examples of this type of cross. The Walker breed has been doing it for a long time and you can see very good example of it in all breeds including Redbones. One I can think of one that made a big impact who was Just a Pr. dog named Thomas' Mo Bruiser ,he was a result of half/brother-sister cross. Henning's Chief was the grand father on both sides. I think you will find the Hoffmeister line has several examples, as well as Yellow River dogs. Look at the with Rocky and Twister that went on to reproduce. What is interesting to me is it is almost always done by doubling up the stud and not many do it by doubling up the females. HMMMM.

I am noticing some pretty consistent patterns in certain successful crosses. I have found a few in the redbone breed...but many more in the walker breed.
I am seeing some great crosses coming from dogs from half brother/half sister crosses who are then crossed back on the equivalent aunt, uncle, niece or nephew. We made a similar cross with Bree and her uncle Jet and the results have been outstanding and the whole litter was uniform and consistent as far as mouth, looks, and ability.
We just raised another litter out of Bree and her other uncle Aftershock who is off of the same mother (Kate) but a different male. All I can tell at this point is that this litter also looks and sounds very similar and consistent. If this cross works equally as well as the Bree x Jet cross we may have to take her back to another uncle because these results are just outstanding.
The reason I made this thread was to get information on other similar crosses to study them to see how much can be attributed to the individual dogs and how much of a factor the actual blood relationships of the dogs may be contributing to the outcome.
I feel like it is more than just a coincidence that I am finding recurring patterns...but I need more data...lots more. I am only looking hard at crosses from these with similar placement of ancestors which culminated in the production of a litter which produced several titled dogs or big winners. I can track titles and wins...cant reliably track opinions on untitled dogs who never won anything. I have to narrow down the field for accuracy so that seems the easiest way. Thanks everyone for the info...the more the better!

Since she is only 3 yrs old and has had 3 litters of pups and a bout with Erlichia, it has been hard to keep her in the hunts. But I have weaned her last litter of 11 pups and started her back on Doxycycline yesterday. She is looking pretty rough but she will be up in Michigan next week. When the going gets tuff, the tuff dogs get going. I was proud to see Calli win while sick and carrying pups this past weekend. I just love a tuff hound that doesn't let a little pain/sickness slow her down.
