Without a doubt coon hunters are the biggest liars...but not all of them. If you ask a fox hunter about their dogs running deer, they simply say, "yep, sometimes...and if they don't stop we get rid of them."
I have never heard a fisherman refuse to admit he caught a different {off game} fish than the one he went for...most actually brag about whatever fish they caught, sought after or not.
About the biggest lie I ever hear in the horse world, and they all tell it, is that no matter what happened it was not the horses fault. The horse could be a slap idiot, all of a sudden wig out and throw the rider through a brick wall to nearly kill him and I guarantee you the rider will come up with all kinds of excuses why he caused it....but IT WAS NOT THE HORSES FAULT.
Coon hunters, on the other hand, will stand before god and swear the line of dogs they are hunting will not run nothing but a coon...never ran anything off...were bred not to...and never have, never will. Dump their dogs on a field full of deer, listen as the dog blasts right on out of hearing and tell you, "that is one of the fastest coons I ever had these dogs run...he's so fast he probably will run right on past every tree in the woods."
Biggest liar???....No contest, coon hunters by a longshot!!!!
Most malicious liars...that's easy, it's women..."it's your baby!!!" Nothing can compare to that one.
