put some miles on today.
had really nice slow rain after hunt last night into this morning. got all my work done for day and decided to get some miles put on the dogs and my fat a$$ to get ready for bear season. did bunch of roading and letting younger male dogs freecast. did same with younger females. after seeing some coon tracks that were from today definitely after the rains couldnt help but get old dogs cut loose as well. let minn, trix, dixie, and sky go and got day coon treed. they were over mile deep and i think was layup, they treed while i was driving to head em off. cut loose dixie and sky couple more times then let all 4 females go for several runs once dark and put coon in the air.
was happy young dogs layed off deer and even a skunk i dang near drove over while roading. my little guy was at home but had to help when rotating dogs out. wish i could put this much time into the hounds every day but then i would end up like the legend bill mack and have so many good dogs wouldnt know what to do with em all!!!
number one handler, hes gonna be 4 in one month.
kept saying he wanted to sit by dogs before i left. LOL. little turd makes our dogs look small!!!
