Did You Receive A Survey from Purina ?

Did You Receive A Survey from Purina ?

If you did, DO NOT ANSWER IT at this time.

I just got off the phone with Purina Pro Club AND Purina Consumer Affairs Office, & I was told they don't know anything about a survey, but the customer service person sent an inquiry to confirm the information.

They said they would contact me about this situation.

I told them that once you get into the survey, you are asked questions such as: how many female dogs do you have, how many male dogs do you have, how many mixed breed dogs (of each sex) do you have, how many females did you breed last year (asked for purebred and mixed breed, both), how many purebred puppies did your female produce last year, how many mixed breed puppies did your female produce last year, etc.

I didn't read any further. There is no "back" button on this survey, & you can't erase an answer from a previous screen, either (I tried).

If it turns out to be legitimate, I will announce that information on here, also. Just trying to be careful...

Wow... that's a bit concerning, depending on who's behind it, and what their intentions are with the data.

Thanks for bringing to our attention!

I just heard from another person (because I also posted this on the Dog Events board) - she received a survey from Purina yesterday, and she said it asked her different questions about the dog food, & HER survey said nothing about dogs, how many, what sex, if any puppies, etc.

I would have expected the survey to be about dog food. But the survey that I received also "looked" to be legitimate - until I got a ways into it, & by the nature of the questions, I became concerned.

Purina customer service agents told me that I should receive a call from the company "within 7 days"...

Hobo, that appears to be the survey email that I received.

The first few pages are the usual questions: What state do you live in, what is your zip code, what is your age category, are you male or female....after that, the questions are all about your dog numbers, puppy numbers, etc.

We will find out what is going on when Purina contacts me.

Well...I wish I had seen this before I did the survey. I guess then...obviously...that I won't be winning the Visa cards!!

Seriously, I do wish I hadn't completed it.

Here is an update about the Purina Survey....

I called them yesterday, because I had still not heard from them. I spoke to 2 different Customer Service Reps.

I was told that those surveys were NOT sent from Purina, nor do they know who is doing this.

Due to the private nature of the questions, it is recommended that you do NOT answer this survey.
