time keeping question

I know a stopwatch is a stopwatch... but what is everyone using that has a countdown in it like for the min on the drop, 2 hour countdown, and maybe time that a dog won't hunt. Do they make such a thing all in one or do you need to carry multiples?

Irion man wrist watch works best for me. Its fast and easy. I hate it when a judge is trying to use the hunt timer app on there phone or the stopwatch on there Garmin. When a handler makes a call that time needs to be on in seconds. No time to be fooling with something trying to get to the time function.

Nothing worse than the hunt timer app stopping and somebody loses track of everything.

Thanks for the replies. I seen some stuff come up for hunt timer app but as much as my phone messes up I know that would be disastrous and some of the folks around here despise seeing a phone out in hunts. I hate a wrist watch so I just found a couple stop watches with multiple countdowns that I'll try. I had a dog that wouldn't hunt that almost beat me saturday night and it was because I couldn't be sure how much of the time was gone on his hunt time. I went in the hole and was working my way out when he went in and decided he wanted to get him a piece of my tree. Luckily I was able to shut him out on the next two to come back ahead. I don't normally worry about times but now I see how important they actually can be and how they can affect your outcomes.

Michael your gonna have one of your lights running around in WV starting tonight! As long as mail comes lol. I wound up calling Dean to see if he had one in stock and he did and was able to get it over here can't wait to give it a chance!!!

Suggest you take a look at the Accusplit Pro Survivor stopwatch. Very easy to use. I think they have them on Amazon.com or ebay...it's about the toughest one out there. There are a lot of cheap ones but the push buttons click and make a ding noise and that part wont last...this one doesn't have the click button design. Also, it takes CR2032 batteries which are readily available just about any where.

Counts up and down. Four channels allows you to run four different stopwatches or timers simultaneously. Not built for abuse and does not light up at night.

The Accusplit Pro does not light up at night either. I almost didn't order it when I saw that because I was thinking about my predator call remote not being backlit. It was a very expensive caller and I was disappointed when it arrived and it wasn't' backlit. But, with a stopwatch in a nite hunt it doesn't really matter...you have a light with you or you wouldn't be there and there's really no reason you cant turn it on and check the watch.
What I did about the caller remote was get a blue colored Photon light and tie it to the lanyard. You could do the same thing with a stopwatch if you want to see it without disturbing dogs or handlers.

If your buying a stop watch, make sure it has a button lock. I run two countdowns and write the time down just in case of fat finger. That button lock works great though
