I have a 8 year old male that I hav'nt hunted much this year but when I have taking him he has been treeing and leaving. He has done it a few times. He has never done this before. But when he does tree and stay he has had the coon. I drew minus the other night on a cast because he was treeing good then left. What could casue this. He is in good health maybe a little over weight. Thanks for any advive or thoughts.

Walk hunt dont be lazy get close if he leaves grab him take him right back and let him tree a while but dont expect him to be firin on all 8 if he hasnt been hunted. get him rite then take him to town.

rthompson is correct. a little extra weight makes a big big difference as well.
