a second cousin, twice removed, future coon treer

why do guys bother to name a dog in the title of their classified ads, that their dog is not directly out of, or barely related to. Every body's dog is related to some high powered stud or foundation dog, ten generations back.

I figure the guys exaggerating the pedigree, are probably prone to lying about other stuff too.

Probably the most abused stud dog for this is Clover. Everyone is selling "Clover pups" but they always leave out the word "bred." These same people usually list them "For Sell" because they need to get them saled...
