I'm posting this for our friend, this is his 4 yr. old son's redbone.

Lost redbone male about 13 months old, he has a scar under right eye. Dark, nice looking redbone. Lost in the Rock Creek Area of Hardin County Illinois. That would be about north of Cave In Rock and Elizabethtown IL. Could have been taken by a hunter. A hunter could have traveled here to hunt and took him back home to who knows where.
Cash has a scar under right eye. If you know of anyone who has recently acquired a young redbone with a scar under his right eye please contact us.

I cross posted this to 2 lists with For pet redbone owners. A picture, and the date he went missing will help people who are not hound people ID him.
Also most states have a Facebook and/or Web page called "Lost pets of _______" You should post there. Sometimes animal control people or shelter volunteers check on those pages, as do people that have found a stray.
