I have been using safegaurd for a few years. It's a powder form that takes 3 days to treat (3 packets).

Drontal....i go to the vet,get the dog weighed,$25 and your done, kills them all......beats messing with horse and goat wormers that your guessing the right dosage on,plus usually need something else for tapeworms.

Just my opinion. And what works for me is Equimax. Turn the dial to one of the notches on the plunger. And give it to your dog once a month. I give this monthly. And I never have a problem with worms of any kind. It even has some ivemectrin in it. But I give ivemectrin as well to take care of heart worms.

I've tried Drontal before and it works. But it is expensive. And it you have several dogs it can get costly.

The equimax can be brought at a feed store or Tractor Supply. Good luck.
