I'm not much of a hunter, and certainly not a breeder, but I have enjoyed Smokey River Hounds for well over 40 years!!!

There were many others before, and in-between. One thing that stands out to me is, the same traits displayed by the hounds I hunted years ago are still present in the dogs I own today.
Smokey River is certainly not the only good strain of blues, but their ability to drift the track, and finish the job has been proven time and time again.

No matter what strain of blues you prefer, we are all reaping the harvest that was planted by those who were before us. We are able to enjoy the fruit of their labor!!! I appreciate those who are working, and sincerely trying to make today's harvest even better for us, and for those who will follow !!!!
