Looking for Out of state hunting in a thick coon population

Me and my fiancé was looking to take our two black dogs to a high coon population area in feb. For our vacation To do a week of good coon hunting.. But we don't know of anywhere to go or where to start looking. Willing to pay for someone to guide us or pay for permission to hunt a nice piece of land with a high coon population. Letting us tree apile and shoot Afew. Could anyone point me in the right direction? I'd like to hunt my own dogs use my own equipment.. Thank you very much in advance. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful night.

Where are you from? How far do you wanna travel?

February means you're looking somewhere south...north Carolina could be too far north in February... Then again I've treed a lot of coon in PA in February... Depends on the winter..

I'd save my trip and goto Western Ohio/Illinois/maybe southern Michigan in good weather...fall would be my choice..if you want a lot of coon that's where I'd head...wont find better hunting than that triangle IMO...access to land..places to stay...killing season and laws etc I can't help with...but after hunting in that triangle once my coon hunting dreams are filled of nights like that...I've never seen so many coon..

guys are always talking about White River Refuge in Arkansas. Not sure if you can hunt it in February, but I'd look at it.

Don't know where you are from and how far you want to go but eastern Virginia in February is not bad at all. Some places are loaded {at least they always were} and some are spotty but overall it's a good area to hunt. It's been a few years since I last hunter these places but pretty much anywhere along the Pamunkey River is some of the best coon hunting in the state.
There is some public land along the Nottoway River just to the south east of Richmond that was without a doubt the best time I ever spent in the woods and some beautiful woods too.
All that said, the way my luck goes, just because I am telling you this, rabies or distemper has wiped out every last raccoon in the state so you might want to check with the locals before booking a hotel.
