Garmin TT 5 Won't Communicate.

Purchased a new TT5. When you power it up it just gets 1 bar of communication and sporadically all bars. Continually looses communication. I've reloaded the collar to the handheld several times. Does anyone have and ideas?

This problem has been posted several times. I think the answer was to get online with Garmin and do an update. I didn't have this issue with my T5 because at the time I got it the immediate update was talked about quite a bit. The new T5 would tone but wasn't supposed to and the update fixed that and the dropping out problem.
You might want to call the tech line and let them talk you thru it, it is kind of different. You have to download a "web updater" thing and then plug in the collar. Not the easiest thing to figure out without a tech helper if you are not a computer whiz.

.

I would do two things. Do an update on the handheld and then turn collar on and let it sit outside for a while.

I edited this due to a mistake. Sorry about that

I was sleeping this morning when I wrote this. I meant to say UPDATE THE HANDHELD. Call 904-692-1568 if you need help and we can push a few buttons to see what system version you are running.
