The right kind?

I'm assuming you mean the right kind of dog. That would depend on the opinion of the person making the statement. To me the right kind is a dog that hunts the woods he was cut loose in THOROUGHLY, but then goes as deep as he needs to go to strike a track and is generally pretty accurate on the tree.

There's alot of variables in what your asking and I'm sure you will get several opinions . As I see it to each his own .

I'm on the same page as you, but I can't figure out why some people are satisfied with the kind of stuff that they are trying to put time into...I had one of those tell me that he had the right kind....that dog barked 150 barks a quarter mile in the dog box coming down the road!! Lol...never shut his mouth till he come treed about 75 yards in and it was slick as a whistle...but he's "the right kind"...I know what the right kind is...I'm hunting 1... and miss pam, he's not a bluetick :-)
