We had a great cast and scored on 5 coon. Penny put it on us tonight! Everything was pretty close in the cast until Penny worked out a track those other dogs couldnt handle lol...i was glad to see my buddy Matt and even more happy to have been the judge on his cast tonight. 700+

Yes sir we had a great time and all the dogs did good. Penny had that special moment where she really stood out. Ive hunted with her a couple of times now and she really looked good. John Gill and Matt Turner should be proud. Going to get me some of that blood Matt has been breeding.

Matt and John, job well done! Im sorry I couldn't do the same, I got Sunny ate up by an Assa Briggs blue English dog of Main street max and almost had to fight the spectator! Thank You to everyone. Winning the Battle has been one of the hunts I`ve personally wanted to win for a long time.
Just to compete in it is a honor for me.
This is the third time I`ve entered up. This is a great hunt, great sportsmanship on all the cast I`ve been on. guides have put us in spots where coon should be.
The one thing that must be true coon must smell the same in Ok. as Ohio cause Penny had one in every tree she treed on.
Penny is my dog.....John just has his name on her registration just kidding.
She is the most accurate hound that I have ever had my lead strap on. Now that's what its really all about.
It was a long enough drive 2000 miles round trip. We pulled in the driveway at midnight. It was worth it. I think Penny had more prizes than Ginger did when she placed 2nd in the world.

5 plaque`s 1st place Nt Champ, 1st Gr Nite, High scoring Bluetick both night s and then the overall winner plaque, Queen of the hunt Buckle ,Dog feed from Purina and Two Battle hats. Not to include $$$. John told me I can have everything Penny won, so I won about everything they had to offer. (John prolly won`t tell me that again). Plus Penny racked up more performance points. So all and all it was a great weekend at the hunts for JOHN GILL I and HIS MEADOWOOD BLUETICKS/GRNITECHGRCH`PR`MEADOWOOD BLUE PENNY.

Then I had the honor to get my picture taken with our new BBCHA President Jim Combs, Jim is a loyal die hard Bluetick Man is very well deserving to be our leader. Jim
is very dedicated to our sport. Thank You Jim for putting up with me.
