Reports are that James suffered a heart attack while out coonhunting with his long time friend Jim Browning.

James, you will be missed! Be sure to tell everyone up there, "O'l Rex Was a Hell of a Dog"!

Arrangements for James will be handled by Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles Indiana.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 4-8 pm.

The funeral will be Wednesday morning at 10:30. Directly after services we will follow each other to Washington Baptist Church in Elrod Indiana where he will be laid to rest near his Father, Mother and Nephew.

CJ, Crazy James, Big Cat Daddy. I just heard, brother I'll miss you. Saw the Obit and was floored. Made me think back to the time when we were running dogs in Oklahoma and the Old English Bitch had a heart attack and died. You looked over at me and said that's the way I want to go someday chasing my last coon. We both laughed and carried her out. I guess you went on your own terms wish you would have stayed a little longer. I'm thinking back to the things we did and it still makes me laugh. I have some great stories. Vonda, Jesse, and Kelly sorry for your loss. Jr. hope your still running dogs, I really enjoyed watching White do her work. Best bitch coon hound I ever saw.
