Blue does A good job in the woods. Dennis I'm sure you've hunted with Blue way more than I have and I'm sure there's A lot of good dogs on here. Blue has never been taken to town and probably never will but should have been. I don't know that he'll reproduce like his sire but I think there will be some special ones come from Blue

We bred Blue to A niece she is out of Bullet II and A full sister to Blue and she's A coondawg. Pups should be due April 1st or second hopefully he's still fertile he's gonna be ten years old in November. If your interested in a pup I can give you the owners ph. number.

This part of the pedigree may not be as well know to some as other names in Blue's pedigree so I thought I would share a little history. Shaker and Wear's Blue Kate were out of the outstanding cross of Doc's Blue Hussler and Dixie. Shaker and Kate show in the 3 generation pedigree of Rockie and Queen was also out of Kate. Nt Ch Moe, Nt Ch Dusty, and Nt Fever were also out of the cross of Hussler and Dixie. Fever was the high scoring Bluetick at the 1978 UKC World Hunt. Bill Hubbard wrote a nice article on the Hussler/Dixie cross in a past Blue Book which was very informative on this cross. The line bred cross of Rock and Pepper produced Rockie. I believe Rockie also placed in the top 20 of a World Hunt and she was Inducted in the BBOA Hall of Fame in 1999. Then her granddaughter, Josie, Blue's brother was the high scoring Bluetick of last years UKC World Hunt. This is only a part of Blue's pedigree but I'm sure this part will do it's part in what he will be able to reproduce.
