Coon Sustinance In Your Area???

How is your coon food sources looking? North Carolina trees are hanging absolutely full of Acorns and persimmons.
Every coon I have harvested has been mud fat.
You know, that has got to be hard on a bear or coon that is constantly gorging himself on the abundance of food there is here and then you dump a hound that is in running shape on him!

Food source is plentiful just like every year at this time. Though with the cold hard winter last winter we are treeing kitten coons now that are no bigger then the ones you tree in the first part of July. Hopefully winter don't set in to quick or it doesn't become a cold hard winter or these kits won't make it.

Yep were loaded with everything Grapes, White Oak, Red Oak. Black Oak Acorns, Corn and Soy Bean.. Hell all a coon has to do right now is roll out of the Den go get a drink of water then go feed for about 5 min. depending on what's for dinner then Head back to the Den ... 8-10 of these red oak acorns could fill right up, maybe 15 or so of the white oak acorns would do it ..
