Read Guy Ormiston's column in the October CB. He discusses the breeding practices of Elbert and Sarah Vaughn down thru history till his untimely death. I was amazed, all the stuff Guy had written about the Vaughn's breeding program can be seen in every successful breeding program that has stood the test of time to this very day. I can attest to it, I research pedigrees like crazy to see where the successes and failures occur over time and the observations in his article are well researched and spot on. I give Guy alot of credit for being able to convey the information in a way that is easy to read and understand.

I agree with you. Mr.Orimston does a great job. I tried to e-mail him to tell him so. After three trys I gave-up on the e-mails. He may have changed his e-mail address.
