crying shame

I feel like it is a shame that I was looking for some sort of help to raise money for cancer research and made a.post on SIX different squirrel dog forums. Out of all six forums there was almost a 1,000 views and only 6 people out of a 1,000 expressed any interest in trying to help or stating they would participate._

I know first hand what it is like to loose someone from this terrible disease and am at this time witnessing several others deal with cancer. Everybody I talk to has somebody in their family who has or have lost someone from cancer. It seems more people would want to help lend a hand in research for this terrible disease. I know economic times are hard and I myself struggle ro make ends meet. I am willing to make a donation or to raffle a pup off with 100% of the money going to cancer research._

I ask again does anybody know of any means of making this happen or how I could go about getting a raffle started to raise money for cancer research. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated._

a friend of mine beat cancer without going through conventional treatment...

I had the same type and used half of his methods and then went through Radiation treatment at the MD Anderson Hospital...I beat it as well but the treatment about killed me...the radiation treatments are the same as they were 30-40 years ago and it is my opinion that the only thing that has changed is using computers so that they can be more precise in treatment...basically it is the same just a big smoke screen to make the public think we are making progress by leaps and bounds towards a cure which I believe is a crock of bull...of course they want to cure you but they want to treat you in a way that will break the patients bank account or at the very least make the insurance pay out a big chunk of money which is ok for the insurance company...because the threat to the public in getting cancer makes everyone in their right mind want to buy insurance...so the Insurance company always has customers...

The cancer medical business is a thriving business and they are looking for better treatments that can drain the account and FOR SURE THEY DO NOT WANT TO FIND A CURE.....SO THEY WILL NEVER GET A DIME FROM ME...I SEE A GIANT SMOKE SCREEN THAT THEY HAVE CREATED AND THEY ARE JUST BLOWING SMOKE...AND THE PUBLIC IS BUYING IT...

It is also my opinion that we need a new research center made up of top notch research personnel that get paid for performance and the ultimate payoff for them will be finding a cure...Building a Research center of that type that pay incentives to succeed with no gains for treatments but high rewards for a cure...WILL BE A SYSTEM BUILT AND SET UP FOR SUCCESS...

not trying to sound negative but I am a ROOT CAUSE FIX type of person...and I see the cancer treatment/research groups as organizations that are looking for treatments (smoke screens) and not interested in finding cures...

it was hard seeing little kids crying in pain and grownups disfigured from cancer while I was going through treatment at the hospital...yes...I am grateful that I am cured and I give thanks to God for that and my friends guidance and help...and also to MD Anderson but like I said...nothing has changed over the years with the radiation treatments other than the tools they use...but radiation is radiation...
