Confused on purchase

I needs some opinions, I currently have the Astro 320 with the DC40 collar . I got my son a pup so I need another collar and I need a new electronic training system........ Here comes the confusion should I buy the new garmin E- training system and a DC50 collar. = $650 or should I upgrade to the Alpha system = $800? The extra money will not kill me, I'm just not sure if the upgrade is worth the extra. Will I be able to track the DC40 with the Alpha?

Thanks for any thoughts

Jeff D

Alpha with the new tt 15 gives you the track and train option all in one pkg..It also frees up some space on the neck of the dog..We offer a upgrade program where you can trade your system in..Trade value on your system is roughly 400-425..New system with one extra collar cost 1100.00..The alpha does not track a dc 40..I
Hope this helps..Valley creek east!

The alpha system IMO is the best thing out there period!!!i had the 30,220, and evry kind of unit available in the last 15 plus yars and wouldn't take the alpha for anyone of them !!! Very user friendly and you won't get a trainer anywhere that will get the distance of the alpha!!! I know I tone from.8 of a mile plus all the time without ever having a problem and I know Bruce tested the system and I believe he was consistantley shocking at 1 mile when they first came out !! Now I don't know anyone that would use it at a mile plus other then the tone portion but it's nice to know when you demand it to work it will!!!!! And no other trainer before the alpha would get consistantly over 500 yards tops and thatway hit and miss!!!! The only thing about the alpha unless you buy the tt5 collar you can't keep it on in a Ukc hunt but I don't know anyone that calls dogs off tracking systems anyway!!! I think the pluses outwau the negatives!! Jmo
