Anyone ever put steel pannel just laid on top of kennels with 2x4s supporting them? If so how did if work out? How many 2x4s did you use for support? Thanks
i tried that overtop of 10x10 kennels one time works great till it snowed. the weight of the snow bent the top bars of the dog kennels. got tired of going and raking snow ones it was done so i ended up going with the metal carport sheds, can put 2 10x10 my two boxes and a job box to store all my dog food under. of course could get different size carport to meet your needs.
I drilled holes along the sides of the metal roof and used metal zip ties to hold it down to the pannels all around the borders. I used corrugated sheet metal I found at work. Gotta make sure you fasten it on good or in a big wind storm they will fly off and hurt some one.

I have the wielded wire kennels and there only five by ten, along more support there then the old fashion 10x10s... Wind isn't a big factor where I am but they will be secured anyways.. Thanks for sharing guys, wonder if some holes would help with snow to melt..
