Astro 320 waypoint transfer?

i've got my waypoints saved to the basecamp and trying to transfer to a 320. well it appears everything works as it should, it shows the waypoints on the internal storage of the 320 on basecamp but when i unplug it from the computer and turn the 320 the waypoints that i have transfered are nowhere to found on the 320. i've has this problem before and then they just show up is there is reason for this. i'm trying to do two of them this morning and both have the same problem. thanks for the help.

.

I know it is dangerous to assume but did you save the waypoints on base camp from a 320? I think that is an excellent idea and everyone you has saved points the want to keep should do that.
With that said if you saved them from a 320 to base camp. It may be easier just to transfer them from the one 320 that has them to another using the wireless transfer.

yea saved to basecamp but shouldnt it just be able to transfer from basecamp to 320. i pretty sure i've done it before. i've got like 150 waypoints and only way i've foudn to do them wireless was one at a time that could take forever.

I would just call Garmin direct, every time I have had any kind of question or issue I call them and get through to technical support.they have solved every problem I have ever had. pretty smart folks

lesson learned

just got off phone with garmin support and they were great help answered more than one of my questions without hesitation. first of all we located all waypoints by doing a reset on the unit which was holding enter and map together then pressing power button. it does like a restart of unit from brand new, you dont lose waypoints on unit just all setting and dogs that were added. when this was performed all waypoints were on the unit like i wanted. next thing he asked was if i was ejecting the unit from the computer or just unplugging and of course i was unplugging it and that was it. what he suggest was after waypoint transfer right click on 320 internal storage and click on eject in the box. that removes the 320 from basecamp. i tried this after deleting waypoints to see if it works and of course worked like a charm. just thought i'd share this info since had never seen it covered.
